Others ways to donate and help ~

Thank you for opening your heart to offer help and hope to those in need. Athelas offers various opportunities to make a gift that will benefit the individuals we serve for the long term.  We offer a variety of planned giving options that will enhance the lives of the individuals whom we serve for generations, as well as, make an immediate impact on the quality of our programs and services.

Major Cash Gifts

Make a difference in the lives of adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities by Donating Now and making an immediate donation using Paypal.

Bequests

Naming Athelas as a beneficiary in your will, a life insurance policy or your retirement funds assures that your heart-felt wishes to provide for your family member, acquaintance, or friend for years to come.

Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust (CRAT)

A CRAT is a planned giving vehicle that entails a donor placing a major gift of cash or property into a trust. The trust then pays a fixed amount of income each year to the donor or the donor’s specified beneficiary. When the donor passes, the remainder of the trust is transferred to the charity.

Memorials and Honorary Contributions

When you make a special memorial donation or a donation in honor of a birthday, anniversary or other milestone or life event, Athelas will send an acknowledgement card to your designee to let them know that a gift was made in their name.
