Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust (CRAT)

 A CRAT is a planned giving vehicle that entails a donor placing a major gift of cash or property into a trust. The trust then pays a fixed amount of income each year to the donor or the donor’s specified beneficiery. When the donor passes, the remainder of the trust is transferred to the charity.

Memorials and Honorary Contributions

When you make a special memorial donation or a donation in honor of a birthday, anniversary or other milestone or life event, Athelas will send an acknowledgement card to your designee to let them know that a gift was made in their name.

Your donations of used cell phones, IPods and ink / toner cartridges can be dropped off at the Administrative Office between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.   Or, if you or someone that you know owns a business and would be willing to place a collection box in their facility, please contact Patricia Owens at the Administrative Office
